品牌介紹OUR STORY

Pronounced in Chinese as “Ci Xi,” our brand is named so for two purposes: 
1. To make our brand stand out more by having the same name with the famous Empress Dowager Cixi of the Qing Dynasty.
2. To change how most people perceive exquisite ceramic ware as solemn and unreachable through our unique design and creativity, and let them realize that ceramics can actually be practical, fun, and creative.

A good design does not really need that much interpretation or explanation, since people perceive something as “good” intuitively, while “design” is how a designer puts his or her ideas into play. We present a “good” thing in a most straightforward manner, and it is you that decide whether a good design fits you or not.There is a story behind every person, every event, and every product, and usually the story begins spontaneously and unintentionally.Thus, the philosophy of “Fun China” is that every piece of work is alive – it is what you think! The ultimate definition of a work is given by consumers.

「瓷嬉」之名,包含二個面向:
一、取其「慈禧」諧音,令人留下深刻印象。
二、期盼透過設計的展現及創意的發揮,扭轉大眾對高級陶瓷瓷器的刻板印象。
復古、嚴肅、高不可攀的距離感,不再是瓷器僅有的代名詞;其實陶瓷也可以很好玩, 有著貼近生活的潛力,鎔鑄創意的設計。箇中奇趣,待您親自體驗!
 
好的設計,不須太多註解與說明。「好」,是一種普遍適用的直覺;「設計」,則演繹了創作者的思想,將之化為具體。我們以直接明瞭的方式,呈現給大眾「好」的感受, 並且由您來做決定,它是不是適用於您的好設計。  

每一個人,每一件事,每一項禮品,背後都有一段故事。而故事常常在偶然的情況下,不經意地開始了。因此,「瓷嬉」的作品,都是活的,您用甚麼方式看待它,它便展現出您心目中的樣貌!消費者才是作品最後的定義者。
